About Matthew Tannenbaum

The Law Office of Matthew K. Tannenbaum is a general practice concentrating in Real Estate Transactions, Lender Representation, Criminal/Traffic Matters, Landlord/Tenant, Probate, and Estate Planning.

Matthew Tannenbaum represents buyers and sellers of residential or commercial property and lending institutions and title companies. Our office will work with the first-time home buyer walking them through the process and the seasoned real estate investor looking to leverage for holdings.

Matthew Tannenbaum also handles the purchase or sale of businesses, short-sale payoff transactions, commercial leasing, and the purchase of bank-owned properties or “REO’s.”

In Landlord-Tenant Law, we work with both landlords and tenants throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Landlord-Tenant Law is related to working out lease agreements for residential and commercial properties and dealing with evictions due to non-payment of rent or holdovers.

The areas of Real Estate and Landlord-Tenant law regularly interact. Matthew Tannenbaum is often brought in by Real Estate Attornies to handle the Landlord-Tenant issues that may arise during a transaction.

Matthew Tannenbaum is also active in the local criminal courts representing defendants charged with misdemeanors and traffic infractions. His relationships and experience in these courts allow him to obtain a favorable disposition of these cases.

Documentation is vital. Last will, Living Wills, Healthcare Proxy, and Power of Attorney are legal documents that inform the state and your family what your wishes are.  These documents also state who you want to speak for you when you are no longer able to do so for yourself. Matthew Tannenbaum will work with you to complete all of this paperwork, so you do not have to worry about any possible confusion in the future.

Our office is located in Garden City near the Roosevelt Field Mall off the Meadowbrook Parkway.
